I was relaxing one morning with my morning cup of joe admiring the flowers and bees and other small stinging insects that I adore when Girly crept up on me and started snapping pictures. How annoying! I'm the one that's supposed to do the annoying!
I tried to ignore her by looking at some more flowers but to now avail, she was onto me.
I had to scurry around between the plant pots to avoid the click of the camera. Good thing I had on my new sport shoes.
I tried hiding next to a big pot...shhhh, here she comes...
...but to no avail, she spotted me and dragged me out to make me pose for her garden shot. Urg, life is so unfair!
Here's Girly's horrible garden.
Stupid flowers, look at them all colourful and bright.
Of course by this time I've managed to slip away since Girly is now preoccupied with taking pictures of flowers. Phew!
This isn't even her peony, Girly crept into her neighboor's yard to snap this. Has she no scrupples, sheesh! I must make up a report.
Oops, I think I've been spotted digging up some of Girly's plants. Darn those cell phone cams, they make life hard for a mischievous little fellow like me.
Ah, what do I care, there's no turning back now. Besides, I find it rather amusing to see how upset Girly gets when all her plants are dug out. For years she blamed it on the squirrels and raccoons...ha, ha!
I hope everyone is checking out my cool new boots, appropriate for gardening of course. Notice I've also scored a cool multi-coloured sweater and a jaunty cap. Now I'm really styling.
Sometimes I start off my morning, say around 11am after Girly's gone, having a look through the local auto trader to see what I can buy. I've swiped Girly's credit card of course but she always catches me before I can purchase some big old behemoth Land Cruiser or something. Darn her and her wiley ways.
Then I like to catch up on any printing or faxing I may have to do. It's amazing how much paper and ink one can go through on these machines. Girly's always cursing 'cause the printer's usually out of ink when she needs it. Ha! Ha!
Then I might entertain myself by making funny faces or looking beseechingly out the window at passers by.
In the afternoon I enjoy reclining outdoors to get some fresh air whilst I catch up on the local news. This weeks paper is talking about some strange little woolly creature spotted leaving a scene of chaos behind. Hummm, they seem to be looking for him for questioning.
When I'm out on the patio sometimes my little raccoon friends come over the fence to play. It drives Girly crazy because they plow through her precious garden and break down her plants.
After lots of romping around, I need to relax somemore. It's been a hard day and we've upset a lot of neighbours. Girly will have to deal with them later. Sheesh, people are so attached to their gardens!
In the evening I like to sit back and watch some of my favourite videos. Gummy Bear is dear to my heart. I'd like to meet him sometime so we can swap stories and go shoe shopping.
I finish off my day all cozy and comfy, tucked into bed with a good book. I like to sleep in the middle so there's not enough room for Girly, she has to sleep downstairs on the couch. What a shame.
Share the adventures of me, Mr Putty Pants, a rather cheeky little fellow, as I explore the world around me with my human handlers, Girly and New Big Friend.
